Fortress K9 Puppies
Working-line puppies for families who want to start from the beginning and build the foundation over time.
A Fortress K9 puppy is for the family that wants to start early, build the relationship from the beginning, and raise a dog with the potential for obedience, stability, confidence, and future protection development.
This is not the fastest path to a trained protection dog.
A puppy requires time, structure, consistency, and the right expectations.
But for the right family, starting with a Fortress K9 puppy can be a strong path forward.

A Fortress K9 puppy gives you a stronger beginning, but the outcome is built through structure, training, and consistency over time.
Who a Fortress K9 Puppy Is For?
A Fortress K9 puppy is for a family that wants to start with strong genetics, a clear temperament foundation, and a puppy raised with purpose from the beginning.
This path is best for people who want a capable, confident, stable dog and understand that the puppy’s future will be shaped by structure, obedience, socialization, exposure, and consistent handling.
Some families choose a Fortress K9 puppy because they want a future working dog.
Others simply want a well-bred, intelligent, loyal companion with the kind of foundation that casual breeding cannot provide.
A puppy may be the right fit if you want to raise the dog yourself, build the relationship early, and develop the dog over time with clear expectations and the right support.
This may be the right path if you:
- Want to start with a well-bred working-line puppy.
- Value strong genetics, stable temperament, and early development.
- Want a dog with confidence, intelligence, loyalty, and trainability.
- Are willing to provide structure, consistency, and training.
- Want to build the relationship from the beginning.
- Understand that a puppy is potential, not a finished dog.
- Want the option to develop the dog into obedience, companionship, service-oriented work, or future advanced training.
Basic and Advanced Fortress K9 Puppies
Choose the starting point that fits your family, your timeline, and your long-term goals.
Fortress K9 puppies are raised with purpose from the beginning.
Whether you choose a Basic Puppy or an Advanced Puppy, the goal is the same: build a calm, confident, stable foundation for a dog that can grow into a strong family companion, service-dog candidate, or future protection dog.
A puppy is not a finished protection dog. It is the beginning of the process. The difference between Basic and Advanced is how much early structure, exposure, and training has already been started before the puppy comes home.
Basic Puppy
8–10 weeks old
A Basic Fortress K9 Puppy is raised with the same care, structure, and purpose that shape every Fortress K9 dog.
From birth, each puppy is guided through early development designed to build confidence, resilience, and stability. This includes Early Neurological Stimulation, safe exposure to new sounds, textures, and environments, basic handling, mild stress challenges, baths, and early care routines.
This gives your puppy a stronger start before coming home.
A Basic Puppy is the right fit for families who want to start early, build the relationship from the beginning, and take responsibility for the next stages of obedience, structure, and training.

Advanced Puppy
A stronger head start before coming home
An Advanced Fortress K9 Puppy builds on the Basic Puppy foundation with additional early obedience work, structure, handling, and real-world exposure.
By approximately 16 weeks of age, each Advanced Puppy has completed our early development process and has been introduced to essential obedience commands, including:
Sit, Down, Wait, Let’s Go, Leave It, Place, and Crate.
These puppies are not fully obedience-trained by Fortress K9 standards yet, but they have a stronger foundation in engagement, responsiveness, structure, and daily handling.
If your long-term goal is a service dog candidate, companion dog, or future protection dog, we can begin shaping the puppy’s early introduction around that direction.
Starting at $5,500

Why Start With a Fortress K9 Puppy?
A Fortress K9 puppy is not just a puppy from a casual breeder.
These puppies come from the same breeding principles and training philosophy that support Fortress K9’s trained dogs. We focus on strong nerves, clear temperament, confidence, family compatibility, and the ability to learn under structure.
That foundation matters.
A well-bred, well-started puppy gives your family a better beginning. It does not remove the need for training, structure, or consistency, but it gives you a stronger place to start.
This path may be right for you if you want to raise the dog yourself, build the bond from the beginning, and develop the dog over time with clear expectations.
